Hey there! I'm Vaclav and I'm a junior developer based in the Czech Republic.

I have a master's degree in Electrical engineering and I worked as a PLC programmer for more than 4 years in Brno. I felt stuck in my career after moving to my hometown Nový Jičín during lockdown 2020 and I wanted to find out my next step. I didn't have a clue what else I could do. But in the end, I found it.

I've loved it ever since. It even connects my favorite aspect from previous work and that is problem-solving. I graduated Object Oriented Programming course at VŠB university in 2021. I'm currently working in Good At IT company but feel free to contact me on my Linkedin. I am available to start work in January 2024.

I think the exposure to new places and new people can be really reviving personally and also eye opening to see how other people live.

Why I love Skateboarding & Sports?

Because, there are no shortcuts in skateboarding. It is the long hard less travelled road that leads to personal experience, creative focus and depth. To succeed at anything of worth, you need patience and dedication - skateboarding is no different.

Literature

I love fantasy literature. Currently I am reading saga The First Law from Joe Abercrombie. One of my favorite writers is Brandon Sanderson. His fictional worlds and the physics of those worlds never cease to amaze me.
